West Midlands safari park a great day out

West Midlands Safari Park

Newly opened, the West Midlands Safari is a great day out for the entire family and even for a group of adults who happen to be on holiday and want to take advantage of the unique opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat. The self-paced drive follows a path that you can meander along at your own rate allowing you to spend hours or just one hour on the safari trip depending on your fascination and time allotment for the activity.

However, be warned that it is jam-packed with wallabies, elephants, tigers, deer, giraffes, rhinos, and plenty of other animals that are likely to steal your heart so quickly getting through is not likely an option. The reception area also sells food buckets that you can take with you on the drive to feed the friendly animals out of your hand such as the deer and giraffes that will come right up to your vehicle in anticipation.

Outside of the drive, there is also a main area that sports a few free shows and some informational exhibits to add a little icing to the experience. There is also food at the main entrance, fairground rides, and a gift shop so you can bring something home.
