For any rugby fan, a major date in the calendar is the Six Nations Tournament. This yearly event brings together the home teams of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales along with France and Italy to create a true spectacle and some great rugby. The tournament is a round robin event, giving each team the chance of playing both home and away.
The event takes place between February and March 2012 and the opening games are over the weekend 4-5 February. The opening fixtures are, on Saturday 4; France VS Italy at the Stade de France, Paris with kick off at 14.30, and Scotland VS England at Murrayfield, Edinburgh kicking off at 1700. The following day sees the highly anticipated clash between Ireland and Wales at the Aviva Stadium Dublin at 1500.
